Wednesday, February 13, 2002 np: hank williams - alone with his guitar bill o'reilly in response to ted turner's recent comments about 9/11 suicide bombers being 'brave:' "It's almost frightening that Mr. Turner ran CNN for 10 years. This guy's so off the wall, he's so out there...I just thank God everyday that Fox News is here to give people an alternative" should i even begin to go off about this guy? bill 'no-spin' o'reilly worked for inside edition for years as a correspondant. does he honestly believe he has journalistic integrity to spare? 'no-spin zone' my arse. the day there's a completely unbiased and truth reporting news network, i'll eat my hat. jesus mcchrist. i don't care if bill o'reilly and i agree on the death penalty (we both oppose it), he's still a puppet.a rhetoric spouting, information bending puppet. personally, i'll take ted turner anyday. at least he speaks how he actually feels. what he actually thinks. he's similar to bill maher in the respect that both have been reprimanded for commenting on the actions of the terrorists. yes, what they did was wrong. yes, there is no excuse for what they did. but face it. you wouldn't fly a plane into a building. and not just because you thought it was wrong. you wouldn't sacrifice your life for some ideal similar to theirs. i wouldn't. my radio show starts tonight. my station unfortunately hasn't begun webcasting and probably won't until next year. even though they've been promising since my freshman year. whatever. at this point i'm contented with the forty mile broadcasting radius we have already. i'm so excited to be back on the air. doing this show makes me incredibly happy and excited. limitless possibilities lie. and i may be asking for you readers' help later on this semester with a listener's poll i'll be doing. anyone who helps will get a nice surprise as a special thanks from me, so think about it. until then. posted by J.
