i'm putting together a list of the best pop singles i can think of to play on my show either this week or next. i'm also going to put together a list of albums that changed my (or your) life. if you want, drop me a line at qfsmayhem@hotmail.com and suggest either great pop songs, or life-changing albums. to give you an idea of what i'm looking for..pop singles that're already on my list:
the la's - "there she goes
smashing pumpkins - "1979"
matthew sweet - "girlfriend" or "sick of myself"
fountains of wayne - "radiation vibe"
gin blossoms - "hey jealousy"
toad the wet sprocket - "all i want"
as you can see, i'm so far only pulling from between like 1993 - 1996 so i need some help. i'm looking for songs that weren't necessarily singles..but are great, to-the-point pop songs none-the-less. please send me your ideas guys. thanks.
