np: stephen malkmus and the jicks - pig lib

we just got the advance copy of this in yesterday and it's really good.

i hate to keep lifting stuff from atrios' site but this was too rich and too perfect to pass up. it's a lengthy faq regarding godwin's law which is the fancy way of talking about something ali, jeremy, myself and a few others established awhile back. short answer: invoke nazis or hitler in a debate/argument and you automatically lose. this faq explains the origin of that notion on usenet groups. great stuff.

i'm eating sunflower seeds. so the night is heading upwards.
