Johnny Cash - "Rusty Cage" [my copy of cash's unchained and soundgarden's badmotorfinger lay almost exactly next to eachother in my book. so i had to choose which version of "rusty cage" i wanted. the man in black won out.]

Cody Chesnutt - "5 on a Joyride" [finally i got to hear the headphone masterpiece and it is a joy to behold. a brilliant double album of lo-fi r&b and hip-hop. quite a re-affirmation of the continuing rebirth of ingenuity in music]
