np: low talking in a computer lab at guilford
so the blog will continue to be minorly sporadic for a bit. i've been busy moving into the new apartment. that was successfully completed last friday, but while carra's stuff still resides partially in my room, things won't truly settle down until she moves out on the 16th. but until then i'm living the amenity free life. kind of odd to not have cable nor internet to entertain me at night. i've been going to bed remarkably early. but then again that also has to do with my having started student teaching.
i rather like northeast guilford high school so far. my teacher is nice and younger so she has ideas the flow along better with my thoughts on teaching. we've already hit upon some nice ideas for lesson plans. today (my second day there; this is workday week for teachers before the students come back next week) i came home feeling incredible about what i was doing. this is the feeling that continues to make me feel like teaching is really the thing i wish to do with myself. i'm getting rather giddy.
i've been reading albert camus' the plague and the other night i had a dream that someone called me on my cell phone (me? with my cellphone on? and on me? preposterous.) named 'ganglia.' it was then that i realized i was too immersed in the bubonic plague. god help us.
