np: willie nelson - stardust

i'm filling in for kim walker at qfs tonight on the 10pm - 12am slot. so if you see this, tune in.

but the big and fantastic news of the day (thanks to atrios) is that roy moore is out as alabama's chief justice. what we have here is a victory for separation of church and state. religious zealots will cry foul, but the fact remains: represent all or represent none. and since the former is nearly impossible, the latter is the rule.

in the face of the senate chicanery going down in the capitol right now, with the looming threat of nominees to federal judicial positions that are decidedly biased and un-judicial in so many ways, this is a ray of hope for the constitution and justice. huzzah, huzzah.
