np: jurassic 5 - power in numbers

it's called ahistoricism, folks. our country has been running on it like mad of late.

now it threatens not only the policies and politics of our country (which functions on a combination of ahistoricism and revisionist history) but what we're teaching kids in the classroom. this policy in maine undermines a teacher's right to even teach the history of ancient greece. you know, some of those unholy heathens who dreamed up those early ideas of a little thing we carry around like the ark of the covenant? yeah. democracy.

i'm sorry. do i sound shrill and livid?

it's cos i am.

please continue to purchase things through amazon for the Triad Health Project fundraiser going on all month here at the blog.

and tune in tonight for a special j's indie/rock from 10pm - 12am on 90.9 WQFS.
