np: the b 52s - "dance this mess around"

what in the blue blazes is this?

i mean, honestly, where do we draw the line? based on this, wouldn't a court also be able to tell a single parent not to live with an unmarried partner in front of their children? or not to flaunt his or her blatant heterosexuality in their face? i mean, what if the child gets the idea that he/she should have pre-marital relations?

but to tell a parent that he is not allowed to be able to be open with his child about who he is..? frankly, it's absurd.

i had a snow day today, sort of. i'm sitting here at school. it was an optional teacher workday and having not racked up a good number of leave days, i decided to come in and get some things done. and i have. i promise. i'm not just playing on the internet.

i'm thinking about doing some feature work on the paisley underground movement tonight on j's indie/rock mayhem, so if you're not familiar with this glorious little sub-genre of 80s rock, tune in and learn a bit. 10pm - 12am on 90.9 FM WQFS.
