np: lyle lovett - "she's already made up her mind"

well, this is what i get for being just a bit too personal and dramatic and ridiculous with my blog. i apologize to those of you who had to read it. but this blog has transformed itself a lot in the nearly two and a half years it has been in existence. my older blog entires are very personal (although never rife with detail) and contain tons of my writing (mostly poetry) and music musings. then it took a turn for the very political, inspired by the political blogs that i read on a daily basis. it was my london journal. my attempt at being the poetic american abroad. it's been a lot of things for me. it still has a lot of things yet to be.

but as i was saying, this is what i get for subjecting you guys to what i thought were my problems.

i got a job today. a teaching job. teaching english. in a high school.

i'll leave it at that. needless to say, i'm pleased. and i need to go to bed. i start tomorrow.
