of quick note..

i posted a week or so ago about how thrilling it was to see john kerry within seven percentage points of bush in NC polls. well, the latest poll from mason-dixon still has him the same distance behind (which is roughly half the amount gore lost to bush in NC with), but with a curious result on the second question..

if john edwards were kerry's VP, what then?

a statistical dead heat, of course.

am i totally dreaming, or could north carolina be a viable battleground state come november? c'mon, tarheels. let's do this thing. (thanks to ed cone for the tip.)
