np: my bloody valentine - loveless
this war just got personal for the third time.
erika, whom you may have seen off to the right under the friends links, is heading for iraq. i found out monday evening upon her visit that she'd been activated, but she wasn't sure where she was going. the rumor had been guantanamo bay. not so.
i've laid all objectivity and emotional practicality and sense aside. i hate you, george w. bush.
the initial reaction from some has been, 'well, she was a reservist. she had to expect this was a possibility.' she also expected that the possibilities would be in situations worth fighting for and not this quagmire hell hole. she's also my friend.
i wish you'd been a touch more concerned. really.

i'm going to staunton, virginia this weekend to visit messr. patrick flanary. it will be good to see him. i will try to conjole him into joining me in an audio blog post at some point.
i don't know what to say. s'il vous plaît n'oublier pas le dimanche. je ne ferai pas.
