np: neu - neu!

i'm copping a bit of mr. sun's tendency to post time-wasting websites that will suck you in like nobody's business.

after a hard day of teaching, i decided to relax by just typing some random things into google image search. so, having spent the last two periods teaching the iliad, i typed in the name 'Hector' and let fly. one of the results was a link to this. and in clicking through, i laid my eyes on this site.

woah.

think back on those innocent, younger electronic days with me, will you?

my male role model..

as long as we're talking about hector..

this should've been a franchise..it was made to be sold.

my other role model..

i actually had a young adult book that was written with this game as the plot.

it made us laugh...it made us cry..it made us all learn precisely what good up-down-up-down-left-right-left-right-b-a-b-a-(select, if with a friend)-start would do us.

got this for my mom on mother's day one year. what? she played it a few times..

i spent months on this..

this one was my favorite..the villains were the best.

come to think of it, i did want to be a ninja for awhile..

i still have an ungodly desire to beat this game..

dude, if you, like, jump off the pad, you'll sail, like, 300 yards..

one day, in brendle's, i got really upset (i was young, okay?) that they didn't have mega man 3 in stock. instead of waiting until the next day to get it, i had my mom buy me this one. and you know what? i don't regret it.

don't forget to scan down to the bottom of the page to check out some of the cool hardware and extra nintendo related things, some of which i actually owned.

yesterday, while referring to agamemnon and achilles as having short tempers when it came to timé, i said: "they're hot blooded. check it and see." one kid groaned rather loudly. the others, nothing. a few minutes later, the groaner held up a piece of notebook paper on which he had drawn a rather large 103 with the degree symbol. and that was my day at school.
