Monday, February 21, 2005 np: tea in the lobby - "for you (i've got nothing but time)" tea in the lobby is the solo project of a wonderful guy from virginia named todd webb. todd keeps a comic journal, in that he draws his personal journal. it's a unique and entertaining blend of soft humour and warm fuzziness. my personal favorite is this one. todd has a wonderful band called rangeboy also which made perhaps one of the sunniest, catchiest songs i've ever heard called "sounds like summer." his site is well worth a perusal. my goal is to have him on my radio show sometime in the future. sleater-kinney, kathleen edwards, glen phillips, stephen malkmus, iron and wine, m. ward, archer prewitt, spoon, beck and others all have brand new albums set up for release, or already have albums out this spring. hachi machi, this is going to be some year for music. -- i'm waiting on pins and needles for something. when i find out, i'll let you know. it has the potential to be very, very exciting. posted by J.
