Sunday, December 25, 2005 having totally stolen this (and not truly been passed it) by the good folks over at crooks and liars (a tremendous blog, by the way), i thought i'd have fun with this and see if anyone's reading in the process. Four jobs you’ve had in your life: restaurant host, book store cashier, overnight coordinator for students visiting guilford college, high school english teacher. (i'm going to leave radio off of there since, well, i'm not paid.) Four movies you could watch over and over: the shawshank redemption, high fidelity, mystery science theater 3000: the movie and hannah and her sisters. Four places you’ve lived: Concord, NC; Greensboro, NC; London, England. there's not a fourth. Four TV shows you love to watch: Arrested Development, the Simpsons, House and the Daily Show. Four places you’ve been on vacation: Germany; Japan; Spain; Berea, KY. Four websites you visit daily: Daily Kos, Aquarium Drunkard, Pitchfork Media and Eschaton. Four of your favorite foods: Cheese tortellini with cream tomato sauce at Elizabeth's on N. Battleground in Greensboro; the calamari fritta at Pomodoro's Greek and Italian Cafe in Asheville, NC; my-via-my-mother-via-my-aunt-marilyn's cheesy baked chicken recipe; sushi of all kinds, but especially mackerel and tuna.
